My name is Sallie Slater and ive been riding and competing since I was 7 years old. Horses have been a long time passion of mine and thanks to very generous parents I have been able to part take in a vast and numerous horse events through out my life.

I started at Bega Pony club where I quickly progressed through the grades on my show jumping ponies on where i represented Zone 14 on a number of occasions in the showing team events at Sydney Royal Easter show claiming a win and 2nd placing in the team events.

I also competed there as a junior in the showjumping ring on my horse Dudley.

My love of beautiful horses then took me over to the world of  “SHOW” horses where i was able to train and produce some beautiful show horses from yearlings to school masters from riding ponies, thoroughbreds and warmbloods. I have had great success over the years with my horses and  4 of my home produced horses winning there novice classes at the Sydney royal Easter show. I’ve also won on 3 occasions Best Presented Ridden ANSA horse at Canberra Royal show. All horses have gained many championships and Supremes over the years but my two highlights would be Mr Porter coming 3rd at The Grand Nationals in the large Open Hack in 2017 and Kingsfeild Arlington coming 3rd in the Small Show Hunter Galloway in 2019 Grand Nationals. My passion for horses is still strong and once in your blood its there for good.
